AAI was incorporated in October, 1996 by Xiaolu Wang, a mathematician internationally known for his accomplishments in many areas of pure and applied mathematics.

Supported by a global network of leading mathematicians, computer scientists, and physists, AAI's mission is to develop world class mathematical solutions, for mathematical and analytical problems related to risk management, financial derivatives, modeling of economies, financial markets and financial instruments and implement them in software applications to support the financial trading and investment community, and to promote the exchange and disemination of ideas, and transfusion of mathematics and technology between academia and the financial industry.
