AAI was incorporated by Xiaolu Wang, a mathematician with research interests in pure and applied mathematics, including Functional analysis, Partial Differential Equations, Numerical analysis, Stochastic Processes, Differential Geometry, Lie Groups, Dynamical Systems, Ergodic Theory, Combinatorics, Algebraic Number Theory, and Algebraic Topology, as well as many areas in Statistics, Physics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Internet and Tele-communication, and Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering. He has been on the faculty at University of Chicago, and a senior scientist at IBM Corp. He has been conferred a position of Honorary Professor from several Universities, including Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, and Nankai University, among the top-ranked in China.

The research and consulting service at AAI is supported by a global network of internationally renowned mathematicians, computer scientists, and physists. Among its consultants and directors are the leading mathematicians in areas including: Probability and Statistics, Time Series, Stochastic Processes, PDE, Operations Research, Fast Algorithms, Complexity Theory, Neural Network, Expert Systems and Machine Learning, Number Theory, and Mathematical Finance.

AAI has a dedicated team of consultants and staff who provide consulting and product support, and implementation of customized solutions.

Advisory Board of Directors

Elton P. Hsu

A internationally well-known mathematician for his fundamental contributions to Brownian motion, martingales, and other stochastic processes important in financial mathematics, as well as differential equations, algebraic number theory, and many areas in pure and applied mathematics. He pioneered the novel techniques in stochastic analysis, which has been successfully applied to mathematical modelling of observed data. He received Ph.D. in Mathematics from Stanford University in 1984 and is currently a Professor of Mathematics at Northwestern University. Elton has many years of teaching experience of courses in probability theory, statistics, stochastic processes and their financial applications to graduate students at Northwestern's Kellog Graduate School of Managements.

Jianshu Li

A world class mathematician who is a leading researcher in Lie Group, Lie Algebras, Algebraic Number Theory, Analytical Number Theory, Modular Forms and financial mathematics. Because of his fundamental contribution and path breaking work, he was among the elite a few of Invited Speakers in 1994 International Congress of Mathemeticians, attended by tens of thousands mathematicians from all over the World. He received Ph.D. in Mathematics from Yale University and has been on the mathematics faculty at MIT, and a Professor of Mathematics at University of Maryland. He is currently a Professor of Mathematics at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Jianshu is on editorial boards of internationally leading journals of mathematics, including the Duke Journal of Mathematics in the US, known for its high standard.

Ming Li

A renowned Computer Scientist who is a leading researcher in Artificial Intelligence, Expert Systems, Bioinformatics, Learning theory, Fast Algorithms, Kolmogorov Complexity, Computational Complexity Theory, and financial mathematics. Because his fundamental contributions to Sciences, he has receieved numerous awards and honors, including the prestigious Steacie Prize, awarded once a year by the Canadian Goverment and Canadian Research Council to  the most outstanding researchers in all Sciences, Engineering and Mathematics. He has been honored by the Canadian Government as the Top 150 Great Scientists in its entire history, a list consisting of immortals like Alxander Graham Bell and numerous Nobel Laureates. He received Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1985 and has taught at Harvard Uiversity. He is currently a Professor of Computer Science at University of Waterloo in Canada, and University of California at Santa Barbara.
